Dose splitting update on split dosing: instead of 2.4mg once weekly, I've been doing 1.2mg twice weekly (Mon/Thu) with my doctor's approval.

Pushing back on Dr.SurgeonPGH here. Halving the dose and calling it splitting is not the same intervention, and this thread keeps mixing them. One changes the schedule; the other changes the exposure.

If somebody has the primary source to hand I would rather cite it than paraphrase it.

Adding the numbers, since they settle part of this. For anyone reading later: the numbers in this thread are worth checking against a primary source before you act on them, including mine. Half the figures circulating in this community trace back to a secondary summary that dropped a qualifier.

There is a second half to this that has not been said yet. Start from the measurement rather than the conclusion. Almost every disagreement here turns out to be two people measuring different things and comparing the numbers anyway.

One thing that is still open after bri_stats’s answer:

What would you measure differently if you were starting again?

Reporting back.

Reporting back with a partial result, because a partial result is still better than silence. Two of the three things suggested helped; I cannot separate them and I am not going to pretend otherwise.
