The pharmacokinetics explain nearly every practical question asked here.

Agreed, and the adaptation point cuts both ways: tachyphylaxis to gastric emptying is why tolerability improves, and it is also why people who were relying on physical fullness feel the effect fade while the appetite effect is still working.

Worth separating that from the pharmacology, which this thread keeps folding into the same question. They behave differently and the advice does not transfer.

Agreed on the mechanism, with the caveat that the head-to-head used semaglutide 1mg, not 2.4mg.

This is exactly what I could not find anywhere else. I will report back once I have actually tried it.

Pushing back on PedsEndoPhilly here. Pushing back on the anecdote-stacking. Twenty people reporting the same thing is twenty samples from the same self-selected pool, not twenty independent confirmations.

One concrete data point for the thread. Practical: whatever you change, write down the date and the reason. In three months the reason is what you will have forgotten, and the reason is what makes the record worth having.

That is the short version; the long version is somebody else's post.

Moderator note: leaving this open. It is being argued well and the disagreement is the useful part. Thread quality here is what the rules are for. Keep it up.
