Glycemic variability as the key metric for glycaemic control success: my coefficient of variation (CV) on CGM dropped from 35% to 20%.

Thank you for spelling out the reasoning rather than just the conclusion. I will report back once I have actually tried it.

Adding the clinical framing, because it changes how the question reads. Most of what circulates confidently in this community traces back to one summary of one study, and the qualifier was dropped somewhere in the third retelling.

My labs after 3 months on glycaemic control: A1C 5.3%, fasting glucose 83 mg/dL, fasting insulin 4 uIU/mL.

I read this differently from JenPlateau, on substance rather than tone. I think the framing smuggles in the conclusion. Ask it the other way round and the obvious answer reverses, which usually means the question is doing the work.

One concrete data point for the thread. For anyone reading later: the numbers in this thread are worth checking against a primary source before you act on them, including mine. Half the figures circulating in this community trace back to a secondary summary that dropped a qualifier.

Moderator note: the sourcing question belongs in the vendor section and has been split out. Thread quality here is what the rules are for. Keep it up.
