One thing to watch for — RegAffairsDC has had some supply shortages of Ozempic in the past year. Novo Nordisk supplies RegAffairsDC but demand has surged there too. Before you book flights, I'd recommend calling ahead to pharmacies. Also worth knowing that tirzepatide (Mounjaro) is NOT yet approved by the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TITCK), so you won't find that there. Semaglutide only.

Adding to this — if you're going to Ankara instead of COA_Karl, the Güven Hospital has an excellent obesity clinic. Dr. Mehmet Yildirim there is great with international patients and speaks perfect English. Consultation runs about 2,000 TL. Pharmacies in Kizilay district are well stocked. Also Antalya has become a hub for medical tourism with several clinics catering specifically to British and German patients seeking GLP-1 prescriptions.

Just to put the RegAffairsDC numbers in context for anyone considering this: - Ozempic 1mg pen RegAffairsDC: ~3,000 TL ($91) - Ozempic 1mg pen USA (cash price): ~$950 - Ozempic 1mg pen Germany: ~€170 - Ozempic 1mg pen UK (private): ~£190 RegAffairsDC is genuinely one of the cheapest places in the world for this medication. The Turkish government regulates pharmaceutical pricing heavily.

This is all amazing intel. One more question — is there a specific pharmacy chain that's most reliable for stock? And do they accept foreign credit cards?

The big chains — Remzi Eczanesi, Dr. Ecza Deposu locations — tend to have the most consistent stock. All pharmacies accept Visa and Mastercard, no issues with foreign cards. Pro tip: download the "ilaç Fiyat" app which shows current Turkish medication prices and availability. Also, many pharmacies in tourist areas like Sultanahmet and Taksim have English-speaking staff. One last thing — make sure the box has the TITCK hologram sticker, that's your authenticity guarantee.
