Living somewhere the domestic route does not exist, which makes most of the advice on this board inapplicable to me.

So the question, as narrowly as I can put it: which of the variables in a cross-border order actually determine the outcome, and which are superstition.

I have searched first, so if this is covered somewhere point me at it and I will read it.

My experience ordering cross-border ordering internationally: I've ordered from an Australian compounder. Customs can be hit or miss.

Shipping time: 5-10 days
Customs clearance: was seized once, reshipped free
Quality: Janoshik tested at 99.4% purity

International ordering adds complexity but can save 60-80% compared to US prices. Research your country's import laws first.

International shipping tracking for cross-border ordering orders: my experience with customs in the US when ordering from overseas:

Seized and destroyed — had to get a reshipped package.

Tips: always include a copy of your prescription, declare medication properly on customs forms, keep quantities reasonable (personal use = 3 month supply max), and use a vendor who has experience shipping to your country.

Mine went the same way, slower. I had assumed I was the exception until I read this.

Clinical perspective, offered as context rather than as advice. The mechanism and the magnitude are separate questions. Agreeing that something happens says nothing about whether it happens enough to act on.

If somebody has the primary source to hand I would rather cite it than paraphrase it.
