At your strength level I'd say 16kg kettlebell. You'll grow into it. The 20kg will be too heavy for pressing movements initially but perfect for swings within a month or two. Actually, if budget allows, get both — a 16kg and a 20kg. You'll use both forever. One more thing I'd add to any home gym — a whiteboard or chalkboard to track your workouts. Progressive overload is everything when you're trying to build muscle on GLP-1. You MUST be increasing weight or reps over time or you'll spin your wheels.

Everyone overcomplicates this. I've been on semaglutide for 14 months, lost 43 lbs, and built visible muscle definition with literally just a pull-up bar and a pair of gymnastic rings (£30 from Amazon). Ring push-ups, ring rows, ring dips, pull-ups, pistol squat progressions. Look up the r/bodyweightfitness recommended routine. It's free and it works. Spent maybe £55 total.

Pulled the trigger on the Mirafit barbell set, squat stands, and a 16kg kettlebell. Also grabbed a foam roller and lacrosse ball as suggested above. Total home gym investment now at about £960. Going to start a 3-day push/pull/legs split next week. Will report back in a month with progress. Thanks everyone for the input!

Great choices. One last recommendation — get some stall mats from a farm supply store for the floor if you're in a garage. They're about £40 for a 6x4 mat and they'll protect your floor from dropped weights and keep your feet warmer in winter. Made my garage gym so much more usable year-round.

For your PPL split on GLP-1, make sure you're getting at least 1g protein per pound of target bodyweight. I use a protein shake right after training because my appetite is basically zero post-workout on tirz. MyProtein Impact Whey in salted caramel is about the only thing that doesn't make me feel sick. Good luck — post those before/afters!
