Plateau breaking story with a stall: I stalled at 205 lbs for 7 weeks.

This is where I part company with the consensus forming above. The "it is your intake" reflex here gets tiring. Some people genuinely stop responding at a dose that worked, and telling them to track harder when they have already tracked is how people stop posting.

I would rather be corrected than agreed with, if it comes to it.

Adding the numbers, since they settle part of this. The boring version of this is the one that works, and the boring version is: measure a baseline, change one variable, wait, measure again under the same conditions. Nobody wants that answer and it is still the answer.

Coming at LibrarianMeg’s question from a different direction. The distinction that resolves most of these threads is between what is true on average and what is true for one person. Both are real; they answer different questions and get quoted as if they were the same one.

If somebody has the primary source to hand I would rather cite it than paraphrase it.

Following on from pat_auckland — and this may be the naive question:

Did your prescriber agree with that reading, and if not what was their objection?

Reporting back.

Rolling average over five weeks showed I had lost 1.6kg during my "plateau". The scale was noise and the tape had moved. I changed nothing and it resumed.
