Tracking labs for the lipid panel — here's the panel I get every 3 months and why: CMP: glucose, electrolytes, kidney function, liver enzymes Lipid…

Careful with treating an unchanged LDL-C as a failure. If ApoB and triglycerides both fell, the particle picture improved regardless of what the calculated LDL says.

Trying to work out whether my panel improved or merely rearranged itself, because two of the numbers went the wrong way.

Advanced lipoprotein testing on the lipid panel — going beyond standard lipid panel:

MarkerBaselineMonth 8Clinical Meaning
LDL-P16181018Particle count (more precise than LDL-C)
Small dense LDL63%30%Atherogenic pattern
Remnant cholesterol3417Triglyceride-rich lipoproteins
oxLDL8346Oxidative stress marker

The shift from small dense to large buoyant LDL is particularly important — it represents a fundamental change in the atherogenic profile.

Before/after bloodwork compilation for the lipid panel — everything in one place for those who want comprehensive data:

CategoryMarkerBeforeAfter 11moChange
MetabolicA1C8.4%5.7%⬇️ 1.6%
MetabolicFasting Glucose13788⬇️ 37
LipidsLDL175104⬇️ 47
LipidsTriglycerides247127⬇️ 117
InflammationhsCRP8.51.0⬇️ 4.0

Every single metabolic marker improved. This is why I'm a believer in this therapy.

A narrower follow-up, since the general answer is now clear:

Was that from a primary source or from a summary of one?

Closing the loop on my own question.

Closing this out. What actually changed my mind was the point about waiting for a trend instead of reading a single measurement, which is embarrassing in hindsight and worth saying anyway.
