Omega-3 index improvement on the lipid panel: often overlooked but my omega-3 index went from 3.8% to 7.8% over 11 months.

Agreed, and one caution: a single measurement is not a measurement. Anything that moves day to day needs a trend before it means anything at all.

Comprehensive lipid panel update relevant to the lipid panel: Marker Baseline 6 Months 12 Months Reference Total Cholesterol 234 199 179 <200 LDL…

That reframing is the part I needed. Printing the relevant bit and taking it with me.

I do not accept the framing. The question has been narrowed to the version that has a tidy answer, and the part that was dropped is the part the OP actually asked about.

Ask again with the specifics and you will get a better answer than this one.

One concrete data point for the thread. If you are comparing against somebody else’s result, check that you are comparing the same measurement taken the same way. Most of the apparent contradictions in these threads dissolve at that step.

Moderator note: good thread. Keeping it here rather than moving it, because the question is general enough to be useful.
