Alright CompoundTalk, it's March and spring is (sort of) here! Let's do another monthly step count challenge. Rules are simple: 1. Post your daily average steps for the week every Sunday 2. Be honest — screenshots from your tracker welcome but not required 3. Any steps count — walks, runs, pacing while on a call, whatever 4. Goal is consistency, not competition (but also a bit of competition) I'll keep a running leaderboard. Last month's winner hit a 14,200 daily average. Let's beat that! My Week 1 (March 1-7): 11,847 daily average. Fitbit Charge 6 tracking. Two rainy days kept me indoors but I did laps around my kitchen like a lunatic.

Defending my crown! Week 1 (March 1-7): 13,422 daily average. On Wegovy 1.7mg since October 2024. Walking is literally the only exercise I do but I've lost 61 lbs and my GP says my cardiovascular health has improved dramatically. I walk my dog twice a day (30 mins morning, 45 mins evening) and I walk to work and back (25 mins each way). Steps add up fast when you build them into your routine rather than doing it as a separate "exercise."

Week 1: 9,834 daily average. Apple Watch. Bit lower than I wanted — had a bad nausea day on Wednesday (injection day was Tuesday) and only managed 3,200 steps. But the other 6 days were all 10K+. On Ozempic 0.5mg, just started in January. The step challenge last month is actually what got me moving — before that I was averaging about 4,000 steps/day. This community accountability thing genuinely works.

Week 1: 12,108 daily average! Garmin Venu 3. On tirzepatide 5mg since November. I count every step including chasing my toddler around Tesco. Three school runs a day on foot is my secret weapon — morning drop-off, lunch pickup for the little one, and afternoon pickup. Plus I've started a lunchtime walk with two colleagues who are also on GLP-1. We call it the "Mounjaro Mile" but it's actually more like 2 miles now.
